About the customer
SCHNEEBERGER® serves renowned original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide in a wide range of industries, from machine tools to the solar, semiconductor and electrical industries, medical technology and others. The product and manufacturing range includes linear guides and profile rail guides as well as measuring systems, gear racks, linear tables, positioning systems and mineral casting. A.MANNESMANN has been part of the SCHNEEBERGER Group since October 2017. A.MANNESMANN is a leading supplier in the production of ball screws, telescopic actuators and drill spindles.
The project
We were able to integrate LMS365 at Schneeberger AG Lineartechnik. By using LMS365, we were able to deploy the system in a very short time. LMS365, within Schneeberger's Microsoft 365 environment, enables the direct integration of Exchange resources (meeting rooms). The personal introduction of the system for the course instructors quickly led to a positive learning curve and a rapid spread within Schneeberger AG Lineartechnik. The importance of LMS365 was promoted through increased working from home, and many new courses for employee training were created within a short space of time.
LMS365 - The e-learning platform
LMS365 is a cloud-based learning management system that integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams. With LMS365, you can efficiently disseminate knowledge to your employees, customers and partners in the form of e-learning, webinars or offline training. In the administration of LMS365, you create courses including content (media, quizzes, etc.) and invite participants to them. Participants attend the courses independently - regardless of location, time and device. In order to always know the current status of progress, as an administrator you call up the corresponding report and get an overview.

What were your requirements for innobit AG?

"We had a vision. We wanted to create our own virtual school. In this Smart Academy, we want to pass on knowledge to our employees. We provide our employees with a complete range of skills. Our requirements were clear: compatibility with Microsoft, seamless integration with SharePoint and cost-effective."
How did you hear about the company?
"We had looked at a few companies in advance. But nothing was a good fit. In the second round, we then became aware of innobit in connection with LMS365. The chemistry with the people in charge was right from the start."

"Our company has 330 employees. We were looking for a solution that was as uncomplicated and pragmatic as possible and didn't want a Rolls-Royce. Every employee can access useful tips and tricks at any time or continue their education through targeted training. We see a further benefit in the area of onboarding. The new team members learn online first and are therefore independent of location and save time."
Were there any challenges during the project?
"There were two or three hurdles to overcome. Thanks to the professional work of the project managers, we were able to resolve the problems and
continued to work on the project at the same time. This meant we didn't lose any valuable time."
