The project

We were allowed to integrate LMS365 at the Sigvaris Group. At Sigvaris, we found an environment in which LMS365 could be perfectly integrated. Microsoft 365 had already been rolled out and SharePoint was being used by the users. We then built the first course catalogs with LMS365 for the sales representatives and IT security topics. Thanks to the good scaling, additional countries and use cases could be analyzed and integrated relatively quickly. Among other things, this created the conditions for easily integrating several thousand customers as external users via External 365 (External User Management).

Interview with Marcel Brunner - Head of Generic Applications and Corporate IT

What were your requirements for innobit AG?

We switched to Office 365 worldwide in 2017. In 2018, the need for more e-learning arose. So we started the evaluation with a requirements profile to see what options we had. We then became aware of LMS365. We wanted to train a nationwide sales force and offer internal training courses to increase the expertise and motivation of our employees.

 

We address several target groups with LMS365. On the one hand, our sales staff and consultants in the field, and on the other, pharmacies and doctors who sell our products directly to customers. Both target groups benefit from the e-learning offer. Another important topic that we wanted to raise awareness of with an e-learning platform is IT security. Our employees should be able to obtain regular information on important security topics, such as fishing mails, etc. The entire platform also had to look professional and be visually appealing. It was important for Sigvaris that our future partner had unlimited knowledge of LMS365.

The main benefit lies in the complete integration into our existing working environment with Microsoft365. We can train all our employees and market partners at any location worldwide relatively easily. Sigvaris has locations in France, China,
America, the UK and Poland, for example. It is possible to respond to individual needs and create content accordingly. The solution is location-independent and mobile. Employees can access the content from anywhere. At the end of a learning program, users can test themselves. If they have answered 80% of the quiz questions correctly, they have passed the module.

The internal part took two months, the external part for France took three months. We were generally able to complete the project very quickly.

The two project managers from innobit were focused at all times and had our common goal in mind. There were no hurdles in this respect. We had technical challenges that we had to overcome. There were some questions when setting up different e-mail accounts for external partners. Employees who do not have a Sigvaris account should also be able to take part in the e-learning program. These are, for example, our partners in pharmacies, doctors or hospitals. We were also able to solve this problem.

The entire e-learning program is used for further training and to expand the know-how of individual employees. But there is another very important point: the appreciation that Sigvaris shows its employees and partners. They all have the opportunity to continue their training from anywhere and at any time. This ensures acceptance. Of course, there are also uncertainties among the participants in such a large project. But these are quickly overcome. We have received positive feedback from many subsidiaries, so we are already in the process of expanding the project to other countries.

I had a very positive impression. The two project managers were always available, so they were always on hand when the situation required it. As a customer, I always felt very well looked after in our project and am fully convinced of innobit's expertise.
